SkyDoc’s external email upload feature allows users to request file uploads and attachments to SkyDoc directly from NetSuite. Here’s how it works:
- Navigate to any record within NetSuite and access the SkyDoc subtab.
- Locate and click the “External Email Upload” button.
- In the window that appears, provide the necessary details, including the recipient’s information, the number of files to be uploaded, the time limit for the upload, and the destination folder. Once you’ve filled in the required information, click the “Send Email” button.
- After sending the email request, you’ll receive a confirmation message stating “Email sent successfully”
- The recipient will receive an email containing a link to upload the required documents.
- When the recipient clicks on the link, they will be automatically directed to the “Upload Files” page. Here, they can upload and view the submitted documents outside of NetSuite.
- The recipient has the option to upload documents using the convenient Drag and Drop field, where they can either select the file manually or simply drag and drop it into the designated area.
- After a successful submission, all uploaded documents can be accessed and previewed under the “Submitted Files” section.
- Importantly, the successfully uploaded documents will be automatically attached to their respective records, ensuring seamless document management within NetSuite.
