For our first employee corner blog of 2022, we will be featuring Sumith Kodur, who is a Lead Consultant at Tvarana. As a lead consultant, he does work related to team integration, development, support, and training. Sumith is currently working on an exciting EDI-based project to integrate EDI data. Although the project is very challenging, he feels that it is one of a kind.
Sumith began his career at Tvarana through an on-campus placement drive held at his SR Engineering college in 2017. After completing his bachelor’s degree, he joined Tvarana full-time in 2018. He then worked here for over 2 and a half years before resigning as an Integration Consultant. However, one year later, Sumith decided to continue working at Tvarana because he wished to work on cutting-edge technologies once more.
Working at Tvarana has helped him grow professionally as well as personally and taught him how to balance the ups and downs in life. His peers have supported him in every aspect, and he believes that every day here is a great experience he can cherish! He also shared that he’s taken inspiration from those around him on his career path and even learned one of his most influential life lessons from two of his cousins. Right out of college, Sumith faced some confusion about which path to follow, however, his cousins taught him how to choose what was right for him and build a path to success. He is forever grateful for this lesson and the impact it had on his career!
Sumith grew up in Telangana, India, and has many cherished memories from his childhood, like playing cricket with friends on the weekends. Outside of work, Sumith enjoys watching movies and likes to watch new releases when he has the time. Some of his favorite movies include Nenokkadine, Orange, and Jersey. He does not watch TV very often, but he recently watched the exciting India vs. South Africa match and is looking forward to the next series. He likes to travel as well and says that Goa is his favorite holiday destination. He goes to Goa often, and his favorite beaches there are Palolem and Arambol.
